This is probably the worst experience Ive had with a dishwasher. I will not buy another LG product if they are this quality. We purchased in 2019 and the racks rusted out within 3 years. The dishwasher will stop mid cycle and start dinging. Its done this since weve owned it but have never been able to get a technician to fix it.

Dishwasher was excellent until it started leaking. The repair was quoted to be over $800. The dishwasher was not that old and shouldnt have died.

Just past the 5 year make so out of warranty. Asked to be elevated to a higher level. Problem not resolved yet. Problem is the plastic covering racks is deteriorating exposing the metal which is rusted. We are two adults her only about 6 months of the year. Using dishwasher once a week. Not happy with this product.

I wish there were negative stars Was serviced in first year and then just past first year and then a few months later again but LG could care less. This dishwasher was and is a lemon and a total waste of money. Have been washing dishes my hand for last few years since the motor with the 10 year warranty went between slightly after year 2. There is a Dantes sticker that says it is covered form10 years but let LG not the labor. And if the error code is incorrect then of course I will need to pay the whole bill. Unfortunately I would pay for labor if the error code is correct but if their software is malfunctioning and LG doesnt have much faith in it either and the error is wrong I will not pay their ridiculous labor and parts I am in a cant win situation and wish they would stand behind their appliances and the software that dictates what is wrong. And if the software is wrong would just prefer to go out and buy another brand and dishwasher. Paid several hundred dollars to be washing my own dishes for a few months in the first year as well as permanently from 1.5 years and on. LG has just been my nightmare and I am so upset that I did not read reviews before purchasing a whole Kitchen of garbage. The only item that didnt need service was the microwave.

This dishwasher is 3 years old and has not worked for 8 months. The E6 code said 1- wrong soap I had not changed soap 2- not level. One LG truck was to runa cycle with a bowl of milk didnt make a difference. Some friends checked level. That worked for 2 uses. Another handyman was hired. His research showed this model is known online for being a lemon and LG doing nothing to fix the dishwasher. I had the local LG warranty person from Honest and Fair appliances come. He went through regular maintenance. He Contacted LG to help. They suggested it wasnt clean. Thought it was we ran a turbo cleaning. Twice. Each time ended in the E6 code. The service man for LG products specifically told me that this model does this a lot and if the code appears again then I would be better off purchasing a new dishwasher. I called LG and the. Us timer service promised to pass my complaints on the a higher office She assured me they would respond immediately. They did not. Now I am looking into legal support as I hav invested a lot in LG fridge oven and tv are great but the 2.5 working years of this dishwasher and lack of response from lgmake me inclined to contact mutual responders and look into a class action law suit.

I bought this dishwasher as a part of a 4-piece suite from Costco. I love how you can move the racks to accommodate just about any dish and the 3rd rack but within a month the power console at the top began having issues. I began having to flip the breaker switch several times a week in order for it to work. This has been the case since 2018. I called LG several times and they would only troubleshoot not send a repair tech. So now its out of warranty and the problem is getting worse.

Love LG dishwasher but fix control panel failures

Cleans very well and appreciate the level of quietness when running. However the dishwasher has a major flaw where the control panel cracks causing the panel to short out. Already replaced once. Multiple appliance repair technicians said the same thing - LG panels all crack. They have replaced dozens of these every year.

Great features and design but very poor quality performance --- Operated periodically from the very beginning of installation. At first we thought it was our lack of operational knowledge. However after warranty we realized it had a reliability issue caused by the PC board. Performance reliability is not on par with my experience with my Braun washer.

Navigating LG SUCKS but the Tech was GREAT

Navigating the LG phone system was terrible and it took several days of trying to contact support in order to get my dishwasher repair scheduled. Which was ridiculous. The repair was fantastic reached out when the parts arrived and was a pleasure to work with. Everything up to that point was overly complicated.

Failed Circuit Board - Rusted Shelves

Was nice when new but didnt hold up. Circuit board failed and was fixed under warranty after a few years. Repair tech who came to fix it says LG is unreliable for appliances and they should stick to consumer electronics. Now all the racks are rusted and the top is bent and wont stay shut while you unload the bottom drawer very annoying.
