I've been extremely happy with my new Bosch series 500 washer, and dryer. Both appliances are incredibly efficient and have made daily chores much easier while helping save water and energy. They operate surprisingly quietly, so they can run without disrupting conversations or sleep, even during the evening. One of the standout features is the wide variety of settings available. Whether I need a quick wash, a heavy-duty cycle, a delicate option, or an eco-friendly program, there's a setting that fits the task perfectly. The washer and dryer handle everything from delicate fabrics to bulky loads with excellent results. Overall, these appliances combine performance, convenience, and flexibility exceptionally well. This is the worst dryer

I would never recommend this dryer to anyone. The water initially did not drain into the wall. It drains into a removable compartment which you have to take over to a sink to dump the water out. The appliance distributor replaced the 1st unit . The 2nd dryer has the same problem. Bosch came to try to fix this so it would drain into the wall. Bosch could not fix this. Bosch Customer Service told me that it is functioning the way it is designed. Okay. If you want to dump the comparment into the sink after every dry cycle, then this is the dryer for you.

I had my reservations at first due to the size but it does a pretty good job and wasn't as small as I thought when I initially looked at the machine. It would have gotten 5 stars if the remote start worked all the time. It only works each time the door is closed and you have to select the remote start option every single time. It would be nice if the remote start option just stayed on.

A lot of people don't like the ventlees dryer why because they don't know how to use it.I don't have any complains it do the job and ceaper. What I notice is when the cycle finish shake the piceses separate and magic it feel dry.

Don't buy this model dryer. WQB245BOUC. I bought this model brand new in April 2025 and it wouldn't drain into the wall. The water drains into a condensation drawer you then have to dump into a sink manually. My appliance store sent out staff 3 times to try to get it to drain into the wall. The tank kept filling with water. Finally last week in Feb 2026 the appliance store replaced the new dryer with another dryer of the same model. Water is still collecting in condensation drawer. Yesterday Bosch sent their own mechanic to look at my machine. He was unable to make all water drain into wall. I still have to dump water into sink in another room. Who ever knew dryers required walking over to your sink to dump out the water?! I paid for this? Why? And I invested in a new Bosch washing machine back in April too.

Touch indicator pretty self explanatory however, drying cycle for towels and sheets end before items are completely dry. I haven't figured out which cycle will completely dry the sheets and towels, Somehow the automatic indicator for dryness ends the cycle before everything is completely dry. Lint tray is very efficient.

I bought a new Bosch 500 Series clothes washer and heat pump dryer from Home Depot. They were both delivered in a seemingly new condition; but, upon hooking them up and trying to use them, it became apparent that they both had been dropped in shipping because neither on worked properly. The washer would not start because there was plastic debris lifting up the AquaStop float. The dryer's drum squealed like a stuck pig from the get go...Upon inspection of the interior, It had multiple broken, plastic pieces as well as a warped drum roller. Perhaps Bosch does indeed make an excellent product; but, their shipping and packaging design is crap. As a customer, when I buy an expensive, brand new appliance, I expect it to be plug and play. To date, this is the worst appliance purchase I have ever made.

This is brilliant. The dryer does not need to be plugged into any hose and outlet. Absolutely marvelous especially in a high rise building but wish I had purchased it for my townhome as well. Lint screen as usual to clean regularly and then a small box to empty of any excess water. Also bought the washer to go with it.

Dryer worked well for a few weeks although failed to drain via hose and condensation chamber had to be emptied. Then it started to need the care progam to be run. Most recently after only three loads. I feel the service technicians are insufficietly trained on servicing this appliance.

Overall this is a solid appliance. Many settings. Gentle on clothes. However, it was the best option available for my space. What I really needed was a vented unit, so this was a compromise. It's slower than vented. Clothes come out damp, so be ready to leave them spread out for an hour or so to dry. Wish there was a vented of this size. Three times in 10 months, it needed to be re-set (unplugging or flipping the breaker for a minute).

New Bosch Dryer and LOVE the Heat Pump!

We really like the dryer. It needs no vent to the outside, using an internal heat pump to dry the clothes. While it takes a bit learn what settings work best, once that is figured out, it does a really good job of drying all sorts of wash- clothes, bedding, towels, etc.

I am more than happy with my Bosch dryer. I was concerned about a ductless dryer, but all reservations were quickly dispelled. This dryer does an excellent job with all types of fabrics and is significantly faster than my old dryer. I highly recommend, especially if you, like me, have limited space. Stacking with the partner washer was an excellent solution for my small condo.

The is our second Bosch dryer; the first was still kicking after 22 years, but we decided to replace it before tariffs kicked in. This model definitely is an upgrade. We don't even notice when it's running, unless some article of clothing has something that clanks. It's easy to navigate the dashboard options, and the wi-fi connectibility is sweet. Love that we can stack it. Still adjusting to the heat condenser aspect. Hoping it will have the longevity of our previous model.

Because of possible expected tariffs I purchased this very quickly over the phone from a dealer whom I thought would give me the best advice. Not only does this dryer have no dials (it's all electric) but you have to take out a module after every wash and dump water into your sink which for me is in a different room. Who ever heard of having to dump water from a dryer?

Not too big, fairly compact and good size for 2bd apartment. Had some bumps getting it set up on the app for remote start, a little annoying you have to manually say "remote start" at the start of a cycle, but nice because this dryer usually needs a long time to dry (sometimes need to run the dryer again). The remote start is great for running it again if you are not home. The main downside of this dryer is simply that it isn't as powerful at drying as other dryers I've used since it needs quite a bit of time (>1-2 hrs) for a medium sized laundry load. Happy with this in an 2bd apartment but not what I'd want in my dream house.

First time user of heat pump dryer, so it took a few loads to get familiar with it; however, clothes dry well (although some fabrics require 2 hours) and unit is quiet. I'm surprised by the amount of lint that each load creates, but the double filter system seems to catch it all. I'm concerned about the longevity of the plastic parts of the lint filters that already show signs of wear after 1 month.

Takes too long and clothes still damp. Even with hose connection I must empty condensation reservoir with every load. Stacking kit did not have instructions so installers didn't even use 4 clips & screws provided - cover falls off and dryer has shifted on the washer. Multiple calls to Bosch about all the problems & I could never find a specialist to address these issues, though everyone I spoke with was very nice & apologized for my problems. When the dryer asked me to perform a cleaning operation in the first month, I realized the stopper was not provided. Bosch sent, but the prompt to clean hasn't returned now that I am emptying the reservoir each time. Fortunately, the washer has been easier.

Compared to the full size ducted dryer that we had before, it has everthing we need but does not get the washing bone dry and, if over-filled, the clothes can be crumpled. It is very quiet, with numerous settings and we love it. Ideal for a small space, or if you have no ducting. Takes a little getting used to for someone used to a ducted dryer

The good: takes up small space, doesn't need a dryer vent. World like I expect a Bosch product to, with one exception: the bad: when drying sheets, blankets, or anything bulky, tends to dry the outside of a wet bundle. Very difficult to get blankets or comforters dry.

A condo I purchased came with the stacking 500 series washer and dryer and they are the biggest pieces of garbage. They can't handle much of a load and the dryer rarely dries anything completely and there's no way for this machine to be set to dry for a chosen amount of time. It stops when it thinks the clothes are dry. Towels, for example come out more damp than if I'd used them to dry off after taking a shower. I'll be replacing these ASAP.

A nice dryer for compact spaces.

We bought this unit because we could not find a standard sized unit that would fit in our laundry closet. We also purchased the 500 Series Washer. The dryer takes a bit more time to dry our clothes than a standard unit but it has worked well with lots of cycle options. Our clothes smell fresher and cleaner than they ever did before with our old Whirlpool units. If this unit performs as well and as long as our Bosch dishwasher has (over 8 years old now) we are going to be happy customers for sure. Thank you for making high quality products with good customer support!

sloppy sales experience didn't impact ease of use

The clownshow from which we purchased the dryer didn't have it connecteded to an outlet so we couldn't see the operational features. But we knew the Bosch brand and were limited by size and non-venting, so we bought it regardless. The clownshow continued as the delivery men, professional as they were, couldn't explain how to use the unit, so we were own our own to figure it out. Both we and Bosch work great!

Not made aware of emptying condenser

I love the machine but I didn't realize nor was it made aware anywhere that the condenser needs to be emptied pretty much after every cycle! Now I need to hard wire it to the drain when I get a chance.

This dryer is great in so many ways. It's pretty to look at, when it's turned on the blue display panel makes it so easy to choose drying time, heat to be used, what kinds of items are being dried and whether you want to have your items come out wrinkle-free.It's a very quiet machine also. Finally, this dryer is efficient.

Almost makes drying clothes fun…

The controls on this dryer are very easy to understand and you can dry as hot (or not) as you want, how quickly you want and how many wrinkles you want. The dryer holds a lot. 2 jumbo bath sheets (each 40x80), 6 hand towels, a kitchen towel, a queen fitted sheet and 4 standard pillow cases in my dryer and there was room for somewhat more. The dryer is also very quiet. Lastly, you can work this dryer remotely. I'm very happy I purchased this dryer.

We recently replaced our Bosch 300 series for the 500 series and absolutely love it. It dryes better than that 300 series and being able to provide feedback through the app. allows for it to correct itself in future drying cycles.

500 Series Dryer

Takes at least 3 times as long as regular dryers. Often times, I have to use timed drying because it thinks clothes are dry but they're not. It's annoying when dryer stops like this - I think it's running but its not so a lot of time is wasted when I have to restart the dryer. I have to empty the receptacle manually - for some reason the installer did not set up drainage hose.
