The unit seems great so far, keeping items regularly cool throughout the fridge zones. Makes ice quickly. The background running noise is silent, but several times a day the compressor does make a loud noise but it only lasts 10 seconds then stops, but I'd prefer this plus an otherwise silent operation vs other fridges that constantly have a buzz

Love everything about this refrigerator, except I have to wipe down the icemaker opening when I want crushed ice, otherwise it leaks water down the inside in and behind the shelves. This is a replacement for our other refrigerator that leaked pretty badly no matter what. We finally had to stop using the icemaker. Kudos to Bosch for giving us a replacement after several service calls! And their technicians are very knowledgeable. Food stays at an even temperature and for the most part this is a very nice refrigerator.

Overall, we like the product. One problem we have is to remember to close the right door 1st and then the left. If not done in that order it tends to not close all the way.

After a terrible past decade with a Samsung and getting to know an appliance repair man in the process, he highly suggested we get a Bosch when we get a new refrigerator as he by far does the least amount on repairs on them. We took the plunge (and time will tell the longevity) but just a few days in, we appreciate the ample ice amount for our large family, easy wipe stainless exterior, high-end lighting inside and the soft close freezer! Like any fridge you hear the ice drop into the reservoir, but other than that, it runs much quieter than our old one. Overall we are satisfied customers!

Old fridge quit after 13 years. Basco was first choice to buy from. I gave JasonG my criteria and walked the showroom. My first Bosch choice was unavailable, and this unit was in stock. Quick and neat delivery. I like the moveable shelves and interior backlight. More room in the freezer.

We replaced our Kitchen Aid appliances after all of them had major issues in only a few years. The 500 Series Refrigerator has been exceptional! First, oddly enough, even though it states smaller cu. ft. than the KA, it has way more usable cu. ft. I hated counter depth, but my wife insisted, and this one has changed my mind! The water filter is also superior as we no longer smell chlorine like we did with the KA. The app is also handy for knowing when to replace filters, etc. Overall super pleased with this purchase.

This refrigerator has been great so far in the month since it was delivered. We love the counter depth size without sacrificing all the space we previously had in our previous refrigerator. The finish is great for not showing water mark or fingerprints. We love the fact that a water bottle stands under the water/ice dispenser without having to hold it on an angle or maneuver the bottle under. The water bottle fill feature is perfect for filling not only a bottle but also a glass and setting the ounces to size and then being able to walk away as it fills. The only thing we were confused by was on the right door shelves, there was a space for an additional bin that is not included. It was a very large space and looked awkward with no shelf there. Thankfully we found one that fit great and matched online. Overall, a great purchase we have been very happy with so far.

Love the room in the refrigerator and how I can adjust shelves to fit my needs. Had an issue with a scratch on the door when it came out of the box but they took care of it right away with a new door. Only thing I'm concerned about is the long bottom drawer in the refrigerator- it doesn't seem very sturdy. But overall - love my new fridge!

This is the only decent fridge we found that fit our space. I'm a big fan of Bosch in general, so I hope it works out! Despite the exterior water dispenser, there's still plenty of room. The produce drawers actually do keep things fresh, but sometimes slide open.
The only thing I wish was different is to have the ability to customize the door shelves. Plus, it's not "fingerprint proof", so regular polishing is required. Overall? It's really pretty and works! Fingers crossed that it lasts.

I noticed the scratch before we tore off the wrappng film and thought it was something on the film. However when we got the wrapping film off the refrigerator there IS a scratch on the right hand door. Not happy about this and hope the issue can be resolved quickly - will you replace the door or do you have a way to eliminate the scratch and make it look good? I have added a photo where you can see the vertical scratch. If not for the scratch my rating would have been a 5 star, if it's not taken care of my rating will be a 1 star.

We've always been pleased with Bosch but this refrigerator has been a disaster. First, the freezer allowed food to thaw, then "fixed itself". We called for Warranty service and everything checked out as OK. Then the icemaker froze up. They finally it - 2 months later. The new one doesn't work. Apparently the main controller is faulty, or so they tell us. They were scheduled to replace it today - the service tech called last night to verify todays appointment. They called this morning to cancel (the second time they've canceled). When THEY cancel on you they send you to the END OF THE LINE for rescheduling!!! Short version, $3,800 refrigerator delivered in September still not working 4 months later. My wife and I are architects; we'll have a hard time recommending Bosch in the future.

Roomy counter depth, better quality than a lot of refrigerators we looked at. Stainless stays clean from finger prints. Love the tall ice and water dispenser great for pitcher and water bottles. Makes abundance of ice. Ice maker doesn't stop quick enough

I ended up with this model, because the Bosch model I really wanted was a half inch too tall. Refrigerator is entirely too small. There is a mystery shelf that is completely unusable. The water flow is sluggish, inconsistent, leaky, and the water from the filter tastes funky. The door only alarms if one of doors is open. Frost easily builds on the freezer door. That's the cons. Pros. It's cute. There's more freezer space than I anticipated. The lighting is nice.

We purchased this unit in July 2025. The freezer drawer had cosmetic damage for which we called customer service who sent a technician to verify. The freezer drawers are on backorder, so a few weeks later Bosch sent the technician out to try a cleaning product. By that time the icemaker stopped working. Icemakers are also on a long backorder so we were waiting for both when the freezer stopped working, 4 months to the day after delivery. After waiting 2 weeks for the technician, he determined it was a closed system coolant leak, which nobody in the area services. Bosch told him and us that we would be authorized a replacement unit and that they would call us. That was 10 days ago. Since then I've called numerous times, sent photos of my reciept and data tag twice, and been given the run around. I've been hung up on twice as I tried to state my case calmly. After yet another call today, I'm no closer to getting a replacement as they are conveniently still waiting for the technician's report which he sent 10 days ago and again this morning. The customer service is unsat and the product we purchased was a lemon. As our coolant continues to leak, we may be without a fridge by the time they get around to honoring their warranty. We expected so much more from Bosch.

So far, this appliance has operated far lower than our expectations. The ice maker hasn't worked in 3 weeks, the water pressure is not consistent. The space inside is smaller than I anticipated. The materials feel very cheap. Not at all happy based on the price point.

This Bosch refrigerator is well organized and spacious. The sleek design and external temperature display is a plus and the refrigerator runs quietly throughout the day. I would suggest an additional area in the refrigerator be provided for 2 litre bottles or gallon jugs. One area is sometimes insufficient.

I do like the refrigerator, it is very nice and bright inside. I wish it was deeper (we have the standard depth not countertop). My old refrigerator had more space. I do love that the doors are actually magnetic. The ice maker instructions are very confussing and we had a hard time getting the ice to start. The digital panel looks like it is off but actually you can read Ice Maker Off when it is unlit. It was very confusing.

The fridge functions well but the temperature stability is not what I expected and my call to customer service was misleading and expensive. In the first days of use some veggies froze so a put a minmax thermometer in the middle shelf and found that the temperature went down to 27F though the unit was set to 37F. This continues to happens regularly but has not led to freezing after the initial few days of use and with the fridge more full. I called customer service and they said, "That's not right, do you want a service call." I said yes but the service technician said there was nothing wrong with the unit and so I was charged $175 for the visit. I feel mislead by customer service. These big temperature fluctuations do no last long enough to freeze things when the fridge is reasonably full but they do happen regularly in the middle shelf, probably due to the placement of the cold air vents.
