Replaced a 25 year old Sub Zero. Overall very happy with Bosch replacement. Brightly lit. Large freezer. Only wish is for a smaller compartment/drawer for butter and cheese.

We bought a brand new B30BB830SS in PA in September, installed it in our newly renovated kitchen on 11/6/2018. Since it is very top-heavy and comes with warnings not to remove the styrofoam packing lest it fall, it is recommended that you fully install the fridge in its permanent location before opening it and seeing that it works. Upon fully installing it, the freezer alarm beeped and let me know the freezer was at room temperature. The fridge alarm never let us know the fridge was too warm.
Over the course of a few hours, the freezer went down to its appropriate temperature and began making ice, but the fridge compartment remained room temperature. Of note, the thermometer for the fridge on the display currently says it is 2* C/ 36* F, despite the fact that the compartment is room temperature.
Bosch customer service was readily accessible over the phone, and recommended we call one of their licensed service contractors, which would be all covered under the 1 year warranty. After three trips by a technician and replacing an inverter, the servicing company would now like to try replacing the fridge compressor (on lengthy backorder), which requires uninstalling the fridge (not a simple process, as it required about 6 hrs to fully install, and carries the potential of damaging the surrounding cabinets each time it is uninstalled and re-installed).
It is very frustrating as this whole process has now taken two months, and does not seem to account for the discrepancy between the fact that the fridge thinks it is 38*F and it actually being about 70*F. In my understanding, if the compressor were broken, the fridge would be alarming that it were not at the appropriate temperature and yet be unable to cool it. Thus, it seems like a problem with a sensor in the fridge compartment to me.
Despite explaining this to Bosch Customer Service and to the licensed contractor (who has been on the phone with Bosch throughout his attempts at repair), no one has adequately been able to trouble shoot the problem, and thus we are left still fridgeless after two months, with no real end in sight, but having to try the very time-intensive and potentially hazardous Hail-Mary of pulling the fridge out and replacing the most important part. At this point I would like a replacement refrigerator, and I would like Bosch to install it directly to compensate us for the immense time and hassle this has caused us.

We have had this refrigerator for about 2 years now and love it. Works beautifully. Love the ice maker, which makes smaller cubes and not those half discs that other fridges make. Fit perfectly in the space that used to hold an oven and microwave before we redecorated the kitchen. Although relatively narrow, it holds everything we need. Really sturdy feel to it. Quiet. Admired by friends, who ask, "who makes this?" as the nameplate inside is very subtle.

We just redid our small kitchen and needed this size fridge. We love it! It fits perfectly in our space but holds everything we need. And it's so bright!
